Highland Park Real Estate

Four miles north of downtown Dallas, you’ll find Highland Park Real Estate, the 41st wealthiest city in the country. Together with its northern neighbor, the city of University Park, they are known as the Park Cities. The two, completely surrounded as they are by the city of Dallas, have also been referred to as island cities. Keeping itself separate from the Big D hasn’t seemed to hurt the value of Highland Park Luxury Homes . It has, on the contrary, only added to its appeal.

Even before Highland Park real estate became some of the most sought-after in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, early advertisements for the development were already contrasting it favorably to the rest of the city. “Beyond the City’s Dust and Smoke,” was an early slogan, as was the catchphrase “It’s Ten Degrees Cooler in Highland Park.”

Today, you’ll notice that the town does feel a bit cooler. This is due to its higher location as well as to the town’s numerous parks. Clearly, Highland Park truly deserves its name.

With State Highway 289 and Route 75 running through town, Highland Park real estate also has easy access to downtown Dallas and the other towns and cities of the Metroplex. It is this combination of an easily accessible location, a slightly cooler temperature and a charming, non-urban air of seclusion, that has kept Highland Park real estate appealing through the years.
