Turtle Creek Real Estate

Style, charm and convenience come together in Turtle Creek, arguably Dallas’ hippest neighborhood. An eclectic mix of architectural styles defines Turtle Creek real estate, which in itself is a reflection of the social and cultural diversity that characterizes the Big D’s most fashionable residential and mixed-use area.

Interestingly enough, there is actually no official Turtle Creek neighborhood. Dallasites use the name to refer to the area that lies along and around Turtle Creek and Turtle Creek Boulevard. Turtle Creek really is a creek, by the way; it’s a winding tributary of the Trinity River which makes its way from North Dallas, twisting through a number of communities before flowing into the Trinity River Meanders.

Local experts agree, however, that Turtle Creek real estate lies in the area south of Fitzhugh Avenue, north of Reverchon Park, west of Cole Avenue and east of Oak Lawn Avenue. Though not quite an official neighborhood, Turtle Creek is well-known throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It’s probably one of the most renowned communities in the area, in fact, which is due to a confluence of factors that have also made Turtle Creek real estate some of the most coveted in the city.

One important factor is convenience – Turtle Creek is just a hop, skip and jump away from both the central business district and the Dallas Arts District. Another reason behind the appeal of Turtle Creek real estate is its setting. The area is centrally located, but it has managed to retain its green and open spaces. Then there’s the real estate itself: from Turtle Creek condos to single-family Turtle Creek townhomes, there’s something for everyone here.
